Are the results permanent ?

The transplanted hair lives as long as the hair from the crown where it was harvested, i.e., for a lifetime. Grafting hair in the area previously affected by hair loss will not affect the growth of the newly transplanted hair, because it is not the scalp, but rather the root (which is “programmed” to die) that is the problem.
