Is the treatment painful ?

There is no reason to feel pain during surgery, as the scalp is completely frozen. Any pain results from the anaesthetic having been improperly administered. In the days following the procedure, however, you may experience some discomfort in the donor area. Analgesics are prescribed in case they are needed, but most patients do not take them. During the procedure, you may watch a film of your choice or even take a snooze in the chair.
